Singapore Flyer – third tallest ferris wheel in the world

You should not be afraid of heights if you want to climb the 165 meter high Ferris wheel. But you will be rewarded with a fantastic view over the city. It is similar to the London Eye in construction. The wheel is attached to the hub with 112 steel cables, each 8 cm thick. What is interesting is that the wheel is not stopped. The passengers board while the journey is in progress. But don’t worry, it rotates slowly and evenly. A ride or rotation takes about 30 minutes. Enough time to enjoy the view of the city.

Until April 2014 it was even the largest Ferris wheel in the world. Today it is still the third tallest Ferris wheel.
